In 2015 Michael decided to hand over the reins of Crofts and retire to his work shop and garage. Chris and Lucy Gray took over the task of maintaining the quality and continuity of care that the practice is renowned for.

They are fully committed to continuing to run the practice in the same way as Michael, with dedication and hard work. Lucy and Chris have pledged to continue to cultivate the traditional ethos whilst still driving the business forward technologically and aesthetically. An extensive improvement programme is underway to offer you and your pet even better facilities, shorter waiting times, more appointments and up-to-date technology to improve diagnosis.

Chris comes from a sheep farming background in Northumberland. He qualified from Edinburgh, achieving a First Class with Distinction and winning the William Dick Prize for the most distinguished graduate. He has worked for almost twenty years at busy small animal practices, which has equipped him with the experience and skills needed to look after your pet.
